The primary online payment option is through the Boscov's website. When you visit boscovs.com, you can navigate to the customer service or account section where bill payment options are displayed. The store also accepts payments through their mobile app, which you can download to your device for convenient access. Some customers prefer using third-party payment services that work with Boscov's accounts, though these may involve additional steps or fees.
Boscov's credit cardholders can pay their bills through the dedicated credit card payment portal. This portal shows your current balance, minimum payment due, and payment due date. You can see your recent transactions and credit limit from this same location. The store also allows customers with layaway plans to make payments online through their account dashboard.
Payment methods accepted online typically include debit cards, bank transfers, and credit cards. Some payment options may process immediately, while others take one to two business days to appear in your account. Understanding the difference between these processing times helps you plan when to submit your payment.
Practical Takeaway: Before making your first payment, take time to explore which payment option matches your needs—whether that's paying a credit card bill, finishing a layaway plan, or settling a store account balance.
Setting Up Your Boscov's Online Account
Creating an online account with Boscov's is the foundation for paying your bill through their website or mobile app. Your online account serves as the central location where you can view your account information, payment history, and current balances. Setting this up takes only a few minutes and requires basic information.

To set up your account, visit the Boscov's website and look for the "Sign In" or "My Account" option, typically found in the top right corner of the page. If you don't already have an online account, select the option to create a new one. You'll be asked to enter your email address and create a password. Your password should be something you can remember but that would be difficult for others to guess—a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols provides good security.
During account creation, you'll need to provide information that matches your Boscov's account records. This may include your full name, address, phone number, and the last four digits of your Social Security number or account number. Boscov's uses this information to verify your identity and locate your existing account in their system. Make sure the information you enter matches exactly what appears on your Boscov's statements.
If you already have a Boscov's credit card or store account, linking it to your online profile typically happens automatically once you provide the correct information. You may see your account balance and payment information appear within a few minutes after creating your online account. If your account doesn't link right away, contact Boscov's customer service for assistance—they can manually connect your accounts.
Security is important when creating your online account. Use a unique password that you don't use for other websites. Consider writing your password in a secure location or using a password manager to keep track of it. Never share your password or login information with anyone, including Boscov's employees or customer service representatives.
Practical Takeaway: Once your online account is set up and linked to your Boscov's account, you'll have 24/7 access to your balance and payment information from anywhere with internet access.
How to Make a Payment Through the Boscov's Website
Making a payment through the Boscov's website involves several straightforward steps. The process typically takes five to ten minutes once you're logged into your account. Following these steps ensures your payment is submitted correctly and reaches your account.

First, log into your Boscov's online account using your email address and password. Once you're logged in, look for a section labeled "Make a Payment," "Pay Your Bill," or "Account Management." This section is usually found on your account dashboard or in a menu labeled with your name. Click on this option to begin the payment process.
Next, you'll see information about your current balance. This screen displays how much you owe, when your payment is due, and any minimum payment amount required. Review this information carefully to confirm the amount you intend to pay. You can choose to pay your full balance, your minimum payment, or any amount between these two numbers.
After selecting your payment amount, you'll be asked to choose your payment method. The available options typically include debit card, credit card, or bank account transfer. Each method has slightly different information requirements. For debit or credit card payments, you'll need to enter the card number, expiration date, and the three-digit security code on the back of the card. For bank account transfers, you'll need your routing number and account number.
Review all the information you've entered before submitting your payment. Double-check the payment amount, payment method details, and billing address. Once you confirm everything is correct, click the button to submit your payment. The website will display a confirmation message and provide you with a confirmation number. Write down or screenshot this confirmation number for your records.
After payment submission, the website shows you when your payment will be processed. Most online payments process within one to two business days. During this time, your payment appears as "pending" in your account. Once processing is complete, your balance updates to reflect the payment.
Practical Takeaway: Keep your confirmation number from each payment transaction for at least three months in case you need to reference it or follow up on a payment that doesn't process correctly.
Using the Boscov's Mobile App for Bill Payments
The Boscov's mobile app provides another convenient way to pay your bill from your phone or tablet. Many customers find the mobile app faster than using the website, especially when making quick payments while on the go. The app shows the same account information and payment options as the website, but with an interface designed for smaller screens.

To use the app for payments, first search for "Boscov's" in your device's app store—either Apple's App Store or Google Play, depending on whether you use an iPhone or Android device. Download the official Boscov's app and open it on your device. You'll then need to log in using the same email and password you use for your online account. If you haven't created an online account yet, create one before downloading the app.
Once logged into the app, look for your account information or dashboard. The app typically shows your current balance prominently on the home screen. Tap on the section that says "Make a Payment" or "Pay Bill" to start the payment process. The steps from this point forward match the website process—you'll select your payment amount and payment method, then review and confirm your transaction.
The mobile app stores your payment methods after you use them once, which can speed up future payments. When making a second payment, the app may remember your debit card or bank account information. However, you should still review the payment details before confirming, as mistakes can happen. The app also provides a history of your recent payments, allowing you to track when payments were submitted and processed.
One advantage of the mobile app is that it sends you notifications about your account. You can set up reminders for when your payment is due, which helps prevent late payments. Some versions of the app also allow you to receive alerts when your balance changes or when a payment is processed. These notifications appear on your phone even when you're not actively using the app.
If you experience any issues with the mobile app, you can always fall back to using the website instead. The two platforms connect to the same account information, so your payment history appears the same whether you use the app or the website. Updates to the app happen regularly, so check your device's app store occasionally to see if newer versions are available.
Practical Takeaway: Download the Boscov's mobile app and set up payment reminders so you receive notifications before your payment is due, reducing the risk of paying late.
